Trump is being laughed out of court.
The facts just don’t support claims of widespread voter fraud; never have and never will.
Challenging the election result is proving itself to be a fool’s errand for Team Trump. They’re being laughed out of court, and legal firms aren’t touching them with a bargepole.
There are several reports of the fact Trump has privately accepted his loss, and this is all theatrics. We see an example of that in a slow switch from the narrative of “we will win” to the sob story of “we lost but it was rigged and stolen”.
This was allegedly what Trump originally wanted in 2016; he wanted to have lost, claim it was rigged, and go into rightwing media. It’s what he’ll most likely do now. It’s all a big grift; it’s a money making mission for the GOP, and it’s a financial bonanza for the Trumps: much like the Trump presidency.
There is a degree of satisfaction in seeing almost all of the MAGA arguments being rejected in court, and legally dismissed. Much of the American legal system is biased towards conservatives, but it’s not so biased it’ll create a fictional reality and become complicit in a constitutional coup.
That’s the greatest laugh of them all: Trump is trying to steal the election (very unsuccessfully) not the other way around. Republicans have been the masters of voter suppression and polling misconduct.
Democrats never fought their corner hard enough; and the fact the GOP still lost indicates the sheer desperation felt by millions to get the orange phoney out of office.
Alas, the situation continues to unfold, and the world watches on, grimacing at the sight of an empire in terminal decline, and a nation less adept at elections than a Third World nation. A geopolitical car crash; China will be jumping for joy at the chaos.
